Swamp Circus Training schemes aim to train participants up to professional standard in their chosen field.

We are currently setting up an arts based community leadership training course in partnership with the Open Performance Centre. This course will develop participant's leadership skills through Circus, Theatre and Film. This will link directly to community regeneration issues through creating regeneration themed performances linked to regeneration projects taking place in South Yorkshire. This course will be available to participants 18 years and over and will be linked to NOCN accreditation.

  • If you live in Rotherham, Sheffield or any other area of South Yorkshire and are looking to develop transferable work skills through fun creative activities
  • or if you are looking for an exciting creative way to make a difference to the development of the area you live in then get in touch with us, this course may be ideal for you, if that's not enough you'll also gain a nationally recognised qualification that will help you gain work in the future.

Through vinvolved, the national youth volunteering programme, Swamp Circus and Point Blank Theatre Company are offering a comprehensive programme of free work experience placements in Performing Arts.
Throughout the year, we’ll be offering full time and part time placements within both companies, allowing you to work with us on some of the most exciting arts projects of 2008, helping benefit the local community and improving your CV in the process!
